The story is told of a woman who was worried that crime was increasing. Each day, it seemed she would hear about a mugging, a kidnapping, or a car jacking that occurred within blocks of where she lived. Eventually, she became so nervous she bought a gun. She didn’t know how to use it, but stuck it in her purse anyway. One day, she came out of a store and saw a man in her car. “He’s stealing my car!” she yelled. But people just looked at her. “I’ll take care of it!” she said, and pulled out her gun. Sticking it in the window, she said “Get out!” After he got out, she waved the gun at him, and said “Get lost!” Which he did, along with everyone else.
