 Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future The 50th Anniversary Celebration of Christ United Methodist Church On June 1, 1975, the congregations of Tullytown Methodist Episcopal Church and St. Paul’s Evangelical United Brethren Church worshiped together for the first time as the combined Christ United Methodist Church. 50 years from that day is June 1, 2025. On June 1st, we will therefore have 1 combined service at 9:30 am! It will be followed by an anniversary brunch. To make it a success, we need people to make/bring “brunch” dishes! Sign up on the bulletin board opposite the Welcome Center, call or email the church office, or place this sheet in the basket in the narthex stating who is coming and what food items you will being/make. Use this link to email the church office about brunch food items. On June 21st at 6 pm, we will have a “Jubilee Celebration Banquet. The cost is: $20 per adult $10 for youth 13-18 $5 for children 3-12 $0 for 2 and under. And the cost for families with children will be capped at $50. Please submit payment for the banquet when you register or as soon as possible. We also encourage you to invite others to join you at these events! Reach out to members who have moved away, and invite them to come back to celebrate with us! Reach out to members who you haven’t seen in worship in awhile, and invite them to return to celebrate with us! And invite people you know who are not members of a church to join you at these events (as we are not just honoring what God did in the past but also embracing what God might be seeking to do here in the future!). ANNIVERSARY SERVICE PROJECT Celebrating what God has done in and through CUMC over the last 50 years would be incomplete if we did not continue sharing Christ’s love with our community in this present time. So, on June 14th, we will be helping with the Relay For Life event!
